From The Artist: "Gun control should ALWAYS be a topic of conversation in this country. Over 33,000 people per year lose their lives from guns, and I attribute this to an American gun culture that glorifies gun ownership and puts gun rights ahead of safety. We live in an ingrained gun culture as part of the fabric of America, and the result is devastatingly high statistics of gun violence. This weekend we saw the deadly effects of this gun culture in Orlando with the worst mass shooting in our country’s history since the Wounded Knee Massacre. The focus of the news media seems to be on homegrown terrorism, but that’s in a lot of ways ignoring that this sort of thing happens for a number of reasons, but the one common thread is easy access to guns that can kill a lot of people in a short amount of time.

I’m not anti- 2nd Amendment, I’m pro-common sense. No one needs an assault rifle with a high capacity magazine or a semiautomatic rifle like the one used in Orlando. We have to ask – why are people on no-fly lists able to easily purchase guns? Let’s not allow a powerful organization like the NRA to lobby, use fear tactics, and ultimately dictate policy that is not supported by the majority of Americans. Please speak up if you believe in safety over intimidation.

Here’s an image of the offset print that I released back in 2013. It’s a controversial message, but worth the conversation it sparks."
