Currently based in Chicago, Deahl's main focus is crisp design and branding but her affinity for drawing brought her talents into the screen print arena with fantastical gig posters and quirky pop-culture inspired art prints. Our new favorite is "Collection of Curiosities" which features trinkets and emblems from various Bill Murray films. Her whole collection is available online and in-store right now.
Tubs is a renowned calligraffiti artist originally from the South Side of Chicago. His sweeping brush strokes build up compositions that masterfully move across the canvas and his two new pieces at Galerie F are no exception. Both works were made with acrylic and aerosol paint on canvas with a three dimensional wide brush mounted on the bottom, all coated with a polyresin that makes the final pieces bossy & glossy. Check them out right away below or shop Tubs entire collection online right now.
With over 30 indoor and outdoor murals in Chicago and countless across the globe, JC Rivera has become Chicago's most recognizable street artist under the name The Bear Champ. Although originally from Puerto Rico, JC Rivera has made his home and his career in Chicago with a close relationship with Galerie F from the beginning of his career over nine years ago. His iconic golden bear was born of his love for boxing as well as his hustle-hard attitude as an artist; now the character has come to represent the "keep fighting" and "rolling with the punches" attitude of Chicago itself. Galerie F just got in a limited stash of both the Black and Yellow WuBears! These 12"x12" screen prints will go fast — be sure to check them out online right now or stop by the gallery in Logan Square this week!
