EXHIBITION: COSMIC POP

SOLO EXHIBITION IN JUNE 2019

COSMIC POP: MAC BLACKOUT SOLO SHOW
FRIDAY JUNE 7 – SUNDAY JUNE 30

Mac Blackout is a Chicago-based visual artist and musician — his stimulating artwork is otherworldly, outrageous and never fails to answer every question with more questions. His medium ranges from mixed media paintings and illustrations to designing his own album covers to public murals all over Chicago. You've probably seen his electrifying work on the streets, turning common shops, venues and walls into splashing, colorful portals of imagination. We are so excited to invite you to the artist reception at Galerie F on Friday, June 7th from 6–10PM where we will be unveiling all new originals works and studies from this Chicago talent. The event is free all night (and family friendly) with refreshing beverages from Old Style!

"My creations are rooted in depicting dreams and visions reflecting and abstracting the world around us, enlivening and anthropomorphizing walls, structures, raw materials, canvases, existing objects, etc. An overall sense of mystery prevails making metaphysical presence the focal point of the work through the use of bold, colorful, and relatable visual elements." — Mac Blackout on his upcoming solo show "Cosmic Pop".

Keep up with the event on our Facebook Event Page, our instagram or Mac Blackout's Instagram. Let's (finally) celebrate summer together with our most colorful show of the year!
